Town of Texas Lions Club General Information

New Member Entry Fee; Waived
Member Annual Dues: $60
       $30 billed semi annual in advance.

Additional nominal cost to member for Lions vest and name badge.

Meetings: 1st and 3rd Tuesday each month except June, July and August.

Regular meetings held at Brokaw Corner Bar and Grill
Meetings are dinner meetings at 6:30 PM followed by meeting.

Summer months:
   1 meeting in June (usually 1st Tuesday) Installation of
   1 meeting in July (usually 3rd Tuesday)
   August: Social gathering workers appreciation.
   Ladies Events:
      Valentine Party    Christmas Party    Installation of Officers (June)
      District Governor Official Visit (usually October)
      August Picnic (Fair project workers appreciation party-no charge)

   Dinner Meetings:
      Price of dinner $15, includes tax and tip.
      Dinner prices charged only if you attend the dinner prior to meeting.
      Ladies Events: price of dinner differs depending on menu.

   Fund Raiser Events:
      Wisconsin Valley Fair Food Stand (1 week)
      Pancake Feed, Riverview School in February

   Service Projects:
      Bingo at Colonial Manor Nursing Home (twice annually)
      Eye Tissue Transport Club (Marathon County Lions Eye Bank Support Group)
      Vision Screening, participate with local clubs for day care children.
      Post Prom Party in participation with local clubs.
      Road Cleanup, Hwy W, twice annually.
