Tom Rau of The Neighbors' Place, spoke to the club members and gave an overview of this unique local organization. The Neighbors' Place was formed in 1987, through the cooperation of several area churches, and is an independent, locally supported organization.
It provides sevices to the community through five major progams; Food Pantry, Household Items, Youth Educational Program, Adult Educational Program and the Community Garden Project.

Chris Wilke of "The Open Door" project spoke to the club members explaining the purpose of the new organization. The Open Door project was started in October 2010
and assists recently released inmates from the County jail or Wisconsin prison system. Operated by a strictly volunteer staff on a very limited budget they provide
proper seasonal clothing, footwear, toiletries and a place to warm up with a cup of coffee and people who care. They also provide literacy training, life skill
training and other collaborative services in a friendly, non threatening and welcome atmosphere.

presented the 2010-2011 Attendance Awards and installed the new officiers for 2011-2012.
